Chai Tea Oatmeal

1 Chai Tea bag
⅓ cup water
½ apple, cut into small chunks (I used Golden Delicious, but any kind will work)
1 tsp all-spice
1 tbs honey
⅓ cup coconut milk (or whatever type you'd like)
1 Medjool dates, chopped
⅓ cup oats
salt

+ Measure out water in a small measuring cup.  Steep the tea bag in the water for a few minutes - the longer you steep, the stronger the Chai flavor will be.  Place a piece of paper towel over the mouth of the measuring cup to help it steep faster.
+ While the chai is steeping, cook apples, honey, and all-spice over medium heat in a small sauce pan.  Once the apples are soft, add the tea.  Cook for a minute or so, then add the dates and milk.  Mix well.
+ Add the oats and a pinch of salt, and give it a good stir.  Add a splash more milk to get a creamy textured oatmeal.

+ Serve warm in a tea cup.
