Tart and Tangy Plumberry Oatmeal

Basic Oatmeal Recipe
½ plum, cut into bite sized chunks
2 large strawberries
a handful of fresh blueberries
1 tbs honey
½ lemon, juice
1 tsp fresh grated ginger

+ In a small sauce pan, cook plum and berries in honey over medium-high heat.  Once the fruit has begun to break down, add the lemon juice and ginger.  Cook until the berries have burst and released their juices, and the plums are tender.
+ While the plum and berries are cooking, prepare oatmeal as directed.
+ Serve oatmeal and warm fruit side-by-side in a large bowl.
